Miscrosoft Windows 7
When we found out that Microsoft was going to release "the new Windows," we were not surprised at all. Windows Vista might have not been the best, yet it was not the worst neither. We have worked on many Vista-based computers and by our experience it has been better than what we had previously heard. But the truth is that everyone began to say "it sucked" and it all went downhill from there for the famous operating system's latest release. Them suddenly, Microsoft "surprises" everyone with the latest Windows edition: Windows 7...

In our opinion, Windows 7 is simply not worth the time and extra money you have to spend to get the latest and greatest (?). We, however, decided to give it a shot, and went to watch the video that talks about the "new features" that the new operating system will have. To our suprise (this time we did get surprised), most of all these features are available in either XP or Vista (or both), they really don't talk about what it really does (i.e. more RAM memory allowance for 32-bit systems), but instead they fill the video with colorful stuff to hypnotize everyone once again--just like with Vista. However, we have to give them credit on the fact that they know how to shift the way most people think (about Vista and why it is "better" to spend more money on something that does nothing, right?), and they seem to be doing a wonderful job.

To YOUR surprise, if you don't know already, Microsoft did so bad with Vista (and so good with XP) that they announced a while ago that Windows XP will be suported until 2014. Yes, that's about 5 more years. And what about Vista? Is it ready to be "buried"? And what does this behaviour from Microsoft tells you as a consumer? In simple words, Microsoft knows that XP rocks, vista not-so-much, and that people are simply not willing to let it go that easily! On our side, we respect those who buy the new operating system; at the end, those are not our wallets that are being emptied without a reason. So if you are considering on buying, test first!
