Communication is one of the most important subjects nowadays. Cell phones and the Internet being two of most popular ways to communicate worldwide. And falling fitly into the Internet communication category comes Skype. Put in simple words, Skype is a software that allows you make phone calls through the Internet. One of the biggest advantages is that calls between users are 100% free, and it let's you call regular phone lines and/or cell phones anywhere in the world for reasonably competitive prices. Skype also comes with a useful option to use your webcam for serious high quality video conferencing. Moreover, you can chat with your buddies, co-workers, or anybody in your contacts just as you would do with other IM services. Don't know your friends user names? Don't worry. A built-in, ICQ-esque search feature that will allow you to find them by name, email, or location, in a flash. Skype also comes with standard security features such as message encryption—a load of other extra features such as fully interactive games, and a wide range of add-ons that will make your experience more enjoyable. Finally, we recommend this software to anybody that's interested in trying something different to other popular IM services out there (i.e. MSN, Yahoo!, ICQ); especially because it works.
